Christopher Baker (Managing Director)

Career:

Chris has 18 years’ experience in Environmental Consultancy. He has worked on road schemes, housing developments and renewable energy projects.

He is the founder and Managing Director of Gavia Environmental Ltd responsible for delivery of hydrological and hydrogeological services, and environmental advice for the construction industry.

Chris is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (MCIEEM) and a member of the Hydrological Society (ICE).

Chris holds SNH licences for Schedule 1 Birds, freshwater pearl mussels and great crested newts. He is also qualified as a BTO Schedule 1 bird ringer, Lantra qualified tree climber and is qualified to undertake electrofishing operations.
